Summer Tutoring: Gr. K-12Youth EnrichmentTutoring offers personalized academic support in Math and/or Reading to help students succeed. Students are encouraged to bring prior school year assignments to help define the area(s) where improvement is needed. Choose the option below that best meets your student’s needs. One registration is good for the selected 4-session or 10-session package. If your student needs additional sessions, please register again to continue your tutoring. PLEASE NOTE THAT THERE ARE NO REFUNDS OR RESCHEDULING FOR NO SHOWS FOR TUTORING APPOINTMENTS. Princeton-Based Tutors You will get four 45-minute sessions 1:1 with your tutor. After registration you will receive your tutor’s contact information and one 30-minute consultation with your tutor to discuss your student's needs. Together, you will select the dates/times for the 4 sessions, and choose if you want them in person at Princeton High School or virtual. Online: Summer Skewer Snacks: AdultAdult EnrichmentFood on a stick isn’t just for the Fair! Join Kirsten live online to move beyond the basic Caprese Skewers into a world of color, flavor, and possibilities. Kirsten will share the 3 Rules of Skewering and demonstrate multiple methods to pleasingly present your offerings. From vegan to omnivore there are recipes for everyone. Participants will receive an extensive handout along with the link to join prior to class. There will be ample time for questions during the session, and participants will receive a link to the recording afterwards so you can cook along at your convenience. High School Tennis Workouts: Gr. 7-12Youth RecreationThe focus this summer will be on live ball drills to work on stroke development, forehand, backhand, volleys, and serves. Singles and doubles match play and strategies will also be part of the program. Any students in Grades 7-12 who currently play tennis or are interested in joining the school's tennis team should join in on the fun this summer! Rain make up sessions will be rescheduled as able. Kindness Crew: Summer Edition: Gr. 5-8Youth EnrichmentKindness Crew is dedicated to serving our community and the needs of the people around us. This program will partner with local agencies and businesses to bring kindness to others and show students the importance of lending a helping hand. We will be volunteering at Princeton Pantry and more! Note that students and the instructor will be walking from the Princeton Family Center to local areas to volunteer. Painting with Threads: Gr. 1-5Youth EnrichmentCome and explore a fun new approach to mixed media! Using paints, you will create beautiful designs on canvas. Each painting will be embroidered with vibrant threads using stitches taught in class. Child-safe sewing needles will be used. Tiger Sharks Intermediate Swimming: Gr. 1-12AquaticsAll participants need to be able to swim 100 yards freestyle nonstop and have been introduced to all four competitive strokes. This class will focus on building strength and skills. Swimmers will use a variety of tools (fins, pull buoys, hand paddles, etc.) to help better their strokes. Sandlot Baseball: Gr. K-6Youth RecreationSandlot Baseball is a daytime, recreational, in-house baseball program. The emphasis of this program is to get kids out on the field having fun and playing America's game! Each day there will be a warm up, followed by learning the fundamentals of the game which include throwing, hitting, and base running. Players will be split into teams and will also scrimmage each other when enough players allow. This is a great way for kids to get out and play this summer! *Players will receive a team t-shirt as part of the registration.Summer 2026 -
Tiger Sharks Beginner Swimming: Gr. 1-12AquaticsAll participants need to be able to swim 25 yards nonstop and unaided. No knowledge of the four competitive strokes is necessary for the beginner class. Students will be learning the four competitive strokes (freestyle, backstroke, breaststroke and butterfly), and their corresponding turns and starts. Students will also learn how to use a variety of swimming tools (kick boards, fins, pull buoys, etc.) and learn about heart rate, intervals, and competition. Princeton Fall Sideline Cheer: Gr. 7-12Youth RecreationCome show your school spirit and cheer on the Princeton Tigers this Fall! Sideline Cheer is a co-ed program open to all skills levels for middle and high school students entering grades 7-12. The season starts with a bootcamp week with evaluations for team placement based on skill level. Practices start the following week and continue through the end of October. New and returning cheerleaders should consider joining the Skills Clinic class offered earlier in the summer to learn and refine skills. Entering Grades 7-12: Mark your calendars! Bootcamp/Evaluation Week: 7/13-7/17, Monday-Friday, 9am-12pm Summer Practices: 7/21-8/27, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, 9am-12pm School-year Practices: 9/1-TBD (end of October/early November), Mon-Thurs, 3:30-6:00pm (may vary depending on game schedules and team placements) Games: Schedules vary based on team placement. We follow the Mississippi 8 Conference schedule. Practice will be held outside the high school gym in the grass area. If the grass is wet or it is raining, practice will be held in the gymnastics gym. Times are subject to change. Cheer during Varsity Football games that start in early September on Friday nights. JV games will be on Mondays and Thursdays (for JV and 9th grade football) Some team-building activities and fundraising opportunities will also be scheduled. * A Parent/Player meeting will be scheduled during first week of bootcamp, your student will not know which team they are on until after evaluations. 55+ Driver Discount ProgramAdult EnrichmentThis 4-hour course is taught by a certified instructor from Precision Driving Center of Minnesota and it will cover updates in laws, the latest vehicle technology, and address traffic safety and accident prevention measures. The class is a presentation and there is no test or behind the wheel exam. Completion of this course provides a 10% reduction on automobile insurance premiums for those age 55 and over! Home Alone: Age 8+Youth EnrichmentIs your child ready for the independence of being home alone? Parents need to be sure their children have the skills and maturity to handle the responsibility safely. Whether it is for an hour after school or several hours a day during the summer, being trusted to be home alone can be a positive experience for a child who is mature and well prepared. This class for children will address several topics relating to being "Home Alone" including age guidelines, safe habits, house rules, after school routines, phone calls, door knocks, dog emergencies, personal safety, handling the unexpected, gun safety, severe weather, fire safety, intruders, and first aid tips. Students attend this class independently and should come prepared with a notebook and pen. Parents are encouraged to review the take home information and discuss it with their child.Summer 2026 -
Campout Camp: Gr. 4-12Youth EnrichmentDo you enjoy camping? Do you love the outdoors and nature? This is the class for you! Join us for a one-week long campout camp where you will learn the ins and outs of camping and get tips and tricks along the way. Some topics that students will get hands-on experience with are shelters, building fires, cooking over a campfire, canoeing, packing, and traveling. The first day is spent at Princeton High School and the remaining days will be outdoors. The final two days of class will put the skills you learned to the test through a hands-on river paddle and overnight camping trip. There will be both a male and female chaperone on the overnight trip if we have boys and girls enrolled. Free/reduced rates cannot apply on this summer camp.Summer 2026 -
Lunch Bunch SupervisionYouth EnrichmentTaking both a morning and afternoon course at the High School this summer? Stick around for Lunch Bunch! Students can enjoy their lunch and relax in the high school lobby with supervised care between classes. Activities such as coloring and games are provided if students wish. Community Ed staff will get students to their afternoon courses as needed. Just pack a lunch and we’ll take care of the rest. Note: For student safety, students are not allowed to be on campus unattended. If students are unable to be picked up right away from morning camp and need to stay on-site until their afternoon camp, enrollment in Lunch Bunch is required. Bring a sleeping bag, pillow, bug spray, flashlight, towels and personal toiletries, swimming suit, and proper clothing for camping and activities - all labeled. Any adults who plan to attend will need to register and pay. This includes caregivers. Meet at Princeton High School parking lot at 10:30 AM on first day (Thursday, June 18th), the bus will be leaving by 11:00 AM. Drama Camp: Gr. 1-9Youth EnrichmentPrinceton’s Drama Camp is pleased to announce Moana Jr. as this summer’s workshop production. Our Camp Coordinator (Hannah Jenson) and the instructional staff (Justin Boneasera, Gracie Imholte, Alex Frantesl, and Emily Lubenow), are excited to bring this fun Disney story to the Performing Arts Center! Drama Camp is an excellent opportunity for students to create a sophisticated piece of art, collaborate with kids of all ages, work on self-confidence and teamwork, and getting outside of our comfort zones! Camp will feature lessons designed to introduce students to a wide range of theatrical skills like performance, design, direction, writing, and technical theatre through the lens of the show. All of this is done by employing student-driven, project-based learning through an immersive curriculum intended to challenge students academically and artistically. Drama Camp is organized into an all-day, two-week experience for students entering grades 4-9. Younger students (entering gr. 1-3) join for the mornings during the second week. The final morning, camp starts at 10:30am and runs until the show that night at 6:00pm. Students should wear comfortable clothes and tennis shoes with socks daily. Participants are expected to bring a bag lunch, morning and afternoon snacks, as well as a water bottle. Dinner (pizza) is provided prior to the final performance. Performance camp t-shirt (provided), blue jeans, and tennis shoes that preferably do not light up should be worn for the Friday performance.
