Down on the Farm: Open to AllYouth EnrichmentJoin us for a fun morning out visiting some of our local farms! Each visit will include a guided tour and a small hands-on activity. Some farms may have an additional cost for activities, which will be noted below. Many farms also offer goods for purchase, so you may wish to plan accordingly. An email will be sent prior to each visit with any of this information. Please wear comfortable, closed-toe shoes suitable for walking on a variety of terrains. Strollers and wagons are welcome. As these are active, working farms, families should come prepared for allergies, including exposure to bees and other insects. Families may register for one visit or all farm visits. Babies under the age of 1 attend for free. In the event of rain, farm visits will likely be canceled and families will be notified in advance. *Some farms have limited parking areas, so sign up early to secure your spot. Tue. Drama Camp: Gr. 1-9Youth EnrichmentPrinceton’s Drama Camp is pleased to announce Moana Jr. as this summer’s workshop production. Our Camp Coordinator (Hannah Jenson) and the instructional staff (Justin Boneasera, Gracie Imholte, Alex Frantesl, and Emily Lubenow), are excited to bring this fun Disney story to the Performing Arts Center! Drama Camp is an excellent opportunity for students to create a sophisticated piece of art, collaborate with kids of all ages, work on self-confidence and teamwork, and getting outside of our comfort zones! Camp will feature lessons designed to introduce students to a wide range of theatrical skills like performance, design, direction, writing, and technical theatre through the lens of the show. All of this is done by employing student-driven, project-based learning through an immersive curriculum intended to challenge students academically and artistically. Drama Camp is organized into an all-day, two-week experience for students entering grades 4-9. Younger students (entering gr. 1-3) join for the mornings during the second week. The final morning, camp starts at 10:30am and runs until the show that night at 6:00pm. Students should wear comfortable clothes and tennis shoes with socks daily. Participants are expected to bring a bag lunch, morning and afternoon snacks, as well as a water bottle. Dinner (pizza) is provided prior to the final performance. Performance camp t-shirt (provided), blue jeans, and tennis shoes that preferably do not light up should be worn for the Friday performance.
