  • Lunch Bunch Supervision

    Taking both a morning and afternoon course at the High School this summer? Stick around for Lunch Bunch! Students can enjoy their lunch and relax in the high school lobby with supervised care between classes. Activities such as coloring and games are provided if students wish. Community Ed staff will get students to their afternoon courses as needed. Just pack a lunch and we’ll take care of the rest. Note: For student safety, students are not allowed to be on campus unattended. If students are unable to be picked up right away from morning camp and need to stay on-site until their afternoon camp, enrollment in Lunch Bunch is required. Pre-registration is required for each day of attendance. During registration, please note what day you are enrolling for and what the student's morning and afternoon camps are.
  • Down on the Farm: Open to All

    Join us for a fun morning out visiting some of our local farms! Each visit will include a guided tour and a small hands-on activity. Some farms may have an additional cost for activities, which will be noted below. Many farms also offer goods for purchase, so you may wish to plan accordingly. An email will be sent prior to each visit with any of this information. Please wear comfortable, closed-toe shoes suitable for walking on a variety of terrains. Strollers and wagons are welcome. As these are active, working farms, families should come prepared for allergies, including exposure to bees and other insects. Families may register for one visit or all farm visits. Babies under the age of 1 attend for free. In the event of rain, farm visits will likely be canceled and families will be notified in advance. *Some farms have limited parking areas, so sign up early to secure your spot. Tue. From mixing and shaping to dipping and decorating, participants will gain hands-on experience in the entire process of cake pop creation. 🎨 Dip and decorate using red, white, and blue sprinkles for patriotic flair 🎆 Learn kitchen basics like measuring, mixing, and safe handling 🧑‍🍳 Build confidence by completing a treat they can proudly share By the end of class, each child will have their own set of dazzling cake pops to take home—perfect for 4th of July celebrations.   • Horse Day Camp: Ages 6-15

    Kids will learn what it's like to have a horse for a day! Campers get to ride in the indoor and/or outdoor arenas for 40min-50min (no trails), practice how to steer, stop, turn, and walk on their own. They also might make horse treats, do a craft, and play games. And don't forget the time to meet and care for the horses, which is a big part of ownership! Campers are broken into smaller groups based on similar riding experience and age, which is perfect for both new and more experienced riders. Campers need to bring a lunch, snacks, and plenty to drink. Drop off is at 9am and pickup is 3pm. WHAT DO CAMPERS NEED TO BRING? ● Long pants, closed toe shoes, appropriate clothes for weather inside and outside of barn● No flip flops● Sunscreen/hat/bug spray● Water bottle/drinks/snacks and a lunch● Treats for the horses if you want● Helmets are provided WEATHER: Camps are held rain or shine, as we have an indoor barn and arena.   • Drama Camp: Gr. 1-9

    Princeton’s Drama Camp is pleased to announce Moana Jr. as this summer’s workshop production. Our Camp Coordinator (Hannah Jenson) and the instructional staff (Justin Boneasera, Gracie Imholte, Alex Frantesl, and Emily Lubenow), are excited to bring this fun Disney story to the Performing Arts Center! Drama Camp is an excellent opportunity for students to create a sophisticated piece of art, collaborate with kids of all ages, work on self-confidence and teamwork, and getting outside of our comfort zones! Camp will feature lessons designed to introduce students to a wide range of theatrical skills like performance, design, direction, writing, and technical theatre through the lens of the show. All of this is done by employing student-driven, project-based learning through an immersive curriculum intended to challenge students academically and artistically. Drama Camp is organized into an all-day, two-week experience for students entering grades 4-9. Younger students (entering gr. 1-3) join for the mornings during the second week. The final morning, camp starts at 10:30am and runs until the show that night at 6:00pm. Students should wear comfortable clothes and tennis shoes with socks daily. Participants are expected to bring a bag lunch, morning and afternoon snacks, as well as a water bottle. Dinner (pizza) is provided prior to the final performance. Performance camp t-shirt (provided), blue jeans, and tennis shoes that preferably do not light up should be worn for the Friday performance.     Campers will get to experience everyday life at a barn! Life in the barn will include activities such as daily riding, learning how to braid manes and tails with ribbon, grooming and caring for the horses (including bathing), and feeding them at the end of the day. This is a great time for campers to spend time outdoors and build lasting friendships with fellow horse lovers in a structured and positive environment. Campers are broken into smaller groups of similar riding experience, which is perfect for both the new and more experienced riders. Please note that riding takes about one hour per day in an arena (no trails) and consist of learning to how to steer, stop, turn, and walk/trot on their own. Campers will spend time on the ground with horses throughout the rest of the day. Campers need to bring a lunch, snacks, and plenty to drink. Drop-off is at 9am and pickup is 3pm each day. Each child will have the chance to design and build their very own chocolate room scene using frosting and a wide variety of sweets. From lollipops to gummy bears, the possibilities are endless!     Get ready for the hilariously gross world of Grossology with Kid Scientific! Kids will craft snot slime erupting from a clay nose and create colorful gummy worm bacteria in a petri dish. This hands-on class is packed with gross-out science, messy fun, and fascinating facts that kids will love! Please pack a nut free snack & drink for your child.
  • Teddy Bear Picnic Gr. K-2

    Bring your beary best friend and a blanket for a beary fun picnic! We’ll create bear-themed snacks and crafts, then spread out our blankets and enjoy a picnic with our furry friends. Location change from printed catalog - class will be held at Princeton High School Room 165 Note: we will be eating teddy grams trail mix and cannot guarantee these are allergy free.
  • My Little Horse Camp: Ages 2-5

    Campers will get to ride a real horse in an arena, meet a number of our different horses at Boulder Pointe and learn about how to groom the horses . . . all with a focus on safety! In addition, students will do an art project and have an opportunity to make horse treats to feed their new friends. Stations are split into 15-minute intervals to keep everyone engaged. Parents have the opportunity to lead their child on the horse and take photographs as they go. Parent/Guardian: This 2-hour camp is designed for parent/guardian participation. Parent/Guardian is expected to remain with their child during the entire duration of camp. WEATHER: Camps are held rain or shine, as we have an indoor barn and arena.   • Pioneer School: Gr. K-6

    Thrill your children and travel back in time to experience real learning as it would have been taught (without electronics!) in the 1880s. All six grades are taught together in a one-room schoolhouse at the Princeton Depot. Students will experience outdoor games and simple crafts will be featured in hours of fun in and around the Pioneer School. Plus, depending on the session students will participate in spelling bees or cursive handwriting, square dancing or historical skits, and/or tasting pioneer foods There will be a School Exhibition on Friday for family and friends to attend and enjoy. Students will be showcasing some of the skills they have learned, followed by light refreshments. Bring a packed lunch, water bottle, an 1800s themed show-and-tell item.   • Campout Camp: Gr. 4-12

    Do you enjoy camping? Do you love the outdoors and nature? This is the class for you! Join us for a one-week long campout camp where you will learn the ins and outs of camping and get tips and tricks along the way. Some topics that students will get hands-on experience with are shelters, building fires, cooking over a campfire, canoeing, packing, and traveling. The first day is spent at Princeton High School and the remaining days will be outdoors. The final two days of class will put the skills you learned to the test through a hands-on river paddle and overnight camping trip. There will be both a male and female chaperone on the overnight trip if we have boys and girls enrolled. Free/reduced rates cannot apply on this summer camp.

We will guide you through the process of making our pizza dough from scratch and all the different sauces that can go on a pizza. You will learn that everything can be a potential pizza topping and how the cheese can make or break your pizza. Every participant will get a full tour of the Pizza Barn kitchen, a Pizza Barn t-shirt, a dry mix of our house pizza dough, a cup of pizza sauce, and all the skills needed to make a quality pizza right at home. After 43 years in the Princeton Community, we will let you in on a few of our tips, tricks and secrets!

    Get ready for a sweet blend of science and fun! In Ice Cream Science, youth will explore the cool chemistry behind one of their favorite treats. Through hands-on experiments, they’ll learn how ingredients transform into ice cream, discover the role of temperature and salt in freezing, and see science in action as they stir and mix their way to delicious results. After making their own batch, participants will enjoy tasting their creations together—and the best part? They’ll take home their homemade ice cream to share with family and friends.
  • Little Einstein's STEM Class: Gr. K-5

    Welcome to Little Einstein's Lab, where curiosity bubbles over and science fizzes to life! In this hands-on, high-energy course, young scientists will explore the wonders of chemistry using the scientific method to guide their wild investigations. This session transforms ordinary household items—like baking soda, vinegar, milk, soap, and food coloring—into spectacular experiments that pop, fizz, foam, and surprise.   • Farm Camp: Gr. K+

    Come experience life on the farm! We will start the day off completing morning chores together, then spend time playing with the animals, picking eggs, doing fun group activities, and having time to just be free range kids! Camp will take place at The 100 Acre Homestead in Princeton, and participants will need to be dropped off and picked up there.

    Kindness Crew is dedicated to serving our community and the needs of the people around us. This program will partner with local agencies and businesses to bring kindness to others and show students the importance of lending a helping hand. We will be volunteering at Princeton Pantry and more! Note that students and the instructor will be walking from the Princeton Family Center to local areas to volunteer. More information will be sent out to participants prior to this camp.

    Let's have FUN in Spanish while doing art projects and playing all together! In this week-long camp, students will review their Spanish-speaking skills by playing games, singing songs, and doing fun vocabulary, reading, and writing exercises designed to review what they already know. These Spanish camps are for entering Grades 1-2 students who are a part of the Princeton Public Schools Spanish Immersion Program. Families can sign up for one or both weeks as the curriculum and teachers are different!
