Level 1 (Intro) Gymnastics: Ages 5-10Youth RecreationThis introductory class is for kids who have 0-1 years of gymnastics experience. This class focuses on: Basic shaping, terminology; Floor - handstands, forward rolls, backward rolls; Bars - front support, cast concepts, tuck swings; Beam and Vault - basic work.If a make up day is needed, they will be rescheduled during the week of February 22nd-26th on their scheduled day at their originally scheduled time.Fall 2026 -
Level 2 (Beginner) Gymnastics: Ages 6-10Youth RecreationPassing Level 1 is a prerequisite. This class focuses on: Vault - handstand flat back, heel drivers, handstand hold against wall; Bars - spotted pullovers, pike & straddle swings, fish taps; Beam - releve walks, scale & arabesque holds, tuck jumps, t-level split handstands on low beam; Floor - cartwheels, handstands, back extension down cheese mat. Gymnasts should bring a water bottle to all practices. Long hair should be secured out of the face. All hair accessories should be soft. Female gymnasts should wear a gymnastics leotard, and spandex shorts or leggings. Male gymnasts should wear tight fitting shirts/shorts. Level 4 (Advanced Intermediate) Gymnastics: Ages 9-14Youth RecreationPassing Level 3 is a prerequisite. This class focuses on: Vault - arm circle handstand hops to 1” panel, spotted handspring; Bars - undershoot dismount, kip with spot, back hip circle, front hip circle with spot; Beam - cartwheel and handstand on high beam, tuck jump ¾, full turns, wolf jumps; Floor - spotted back walkover, round off with rebound, front walkover step outs, split leap 180° Gymnasts should bring a water bottle to all practices. Long hair should be secured out of the face. All hair accessories should be soft. Female gymnasts should wear a gymnastics leotard, and spandex shorts or leggings. Male gymnasts should wear tight fitting shirts/shorts. Level 3 (Intermediate) Gymnastics: Age 8+Youth RecreationPassing Level 2 is a prerequisite. This class focuses on: Vault - handstand flatbacks with repulsion, popups; Bars - pullover from standing, tap swings, glide swings, squat on floor bar; Beam - cartwheels and handstands on low beam, ½ turns, tuck jump ½; Floor - front limber, back limber, split leap 45°, handstands. Gymnasts should bring a water bottle to all practices. Long hair should be secured out of the face. All hair accessories should be soft. Female gymnasts should wear a gymnastics leotard, and spandex shorts or leggings. Male gymnasts should wear tight fitting shirts/shorts. Level 5 (Advanced Gymnastics): Age 8+Youth RecreationCOACH APPROVAL REQUIRED. Register your child based on the last skill evaluation that was completed. To schedule an evaluation please email Jennine Martindale at bri_nine@outlook.com This class focuses on: Vault - handspring and flysprings; Bars - cast above horizontal, kip, flyaway low bar with spot; Beam - front tuck dismount, connected cartwheels, spotted front and back walkovers; Floor - front handspring, standing back tuck off block, switch leap, round off back handspring. Gymnasts should bring a water bottle to all practices. Long hair should be secured out of the face. All hair accessories should be soft. Female gymnasts should wear a gymnastics leotard, and spandex shorts or leggings. Male gymnasts should wear tight fitting shirts/shorts. Preschool Gymnastics: Ages 4-5Youth RecreationThis class is for kids ages 4-5 who are planning to go into preschool in the fall of 2026. This class requires parents to wait outside the gym during class time for the safety and focus of students. Gymnasts should bring a water bottle to all practices. Long hair should be secured out of the face. All hair accessories should be soft. Female gymnasts should wear a gymnastics leotard, and spandex shorts or leggings. Male gymnasts should wear tight fitting shirts/shorts.
