Beginner Ceramic Workshop: Gr. 4-AdultAdult EnrichmentLearn all about clay while creating a variety of projects using both wheel-throwing and hand-building techniques. Students can anticipate completing up to 10 unique pieces during the course. Thursday students attend Thursday, Sept. 24th and Oct. 1st to craft their items. Items need to dry. Then participants return on Oct. 15th to glaze their items. Instructor will then fire the items and they will be ready for pick-up after Oct. 22nd by appointment. Saturday students attend Saturday, Sept. 26th and Oct. 3rd to craft their items. Items need to dry. Then participants return on Oct. 17th to glaze their items. Ceramics for Fun: Ages 8-AdultAdult EnrichmentParticipants will learn about clay and explore how to create fun and functional art using hand-building techniques. There will be two sessions-one for making up to 10 items, and the second session will be for glazing and assembly of projects. Section 1: students attend October 5th to craft their items. Items need to dry. Then participants return on Oct. 12th to glaze and assemble their items. Instructor will then fire the items and they will be ready for pick-up after Oct. 19th by appointment. Section 2: students attend November 9th to craft their items. Items need to dry. Then participants return on November 16th to glaze and assemble their items. Instructor will then fire the items and they will be ready for pick-up after Oct. 23rd by appointment. Please note: there is no wheel-throwing in Ceramics for Fun.
