Join us for a fun evening designed for families with children ages one through kindergarten! Families are welcome to bring dinner and eat together in our lunchroom from 5:00–5:20 p.m. After dinner, we will enjoy movement and active play in the gym or on the small playground, depending on the teacher’s plan and the weather. Around 5:40 p.m., we will move into the classroom, where children can explore and play while parents connect with other families. This will be a welcoming space to share the joys, challenges, questions, and celebrations that come with parenting. The class begins October 1 and meets from 5:00–6:30 p.m.

Kids of multiple ages can learn and teach each other as they navigate through interaction and play. This class is fun for all ages Birth to Age 5. Come have lots of fun with your toddler in this ECFE class for one and two year olds! We will provide lots of movement activities to keep your active toddler busy! Families will stay together for the entire period; playing and exploring together for the first half of class, then while the children continue to socialize with their new friends, the parents/ caregivers will have an engaging parent discussion time for the second half of class with their teacher. Sibling care is available with a charge.

Children will enjoy exploring a variety of art experiences in this class for 1.5 to K entrance. Are you looking for a little something extra to do with your child? Come join us in this engaging new ECFE class where we will be "hands on" Each week there will be fun new things to experience! We will be exploring nature items, different textures, and our senses. We will be creating art, building, moving our bodies and so much more! We will end with a circle time of singing, making music, & doing a large motor activity together! Sibling care is available with a charge.

Rain or shine. Each session will include a nature walk and exploration. Bring strollers if needed & dress for the weather and outdoor fun: tennis shoes, jackets, Some of the trails will be gravel/ dirt and uneven. We will meet at various outdoor locations/parks and learn how to be “scientists”- kid-style. Nature-time is an awesome time to help children learn to think and observe. The “Project Learning Tree” curriculum and other nature-based hands-on activities will be included each time we gather. Come play and learn! (Sign up for one or all of the Nature Classes.) Parenting with Love & Logic (Great opportunity for parents of young children & preschool students!) Did you ever imagine parenting could feel this challenging? If life with kids has you feeling overwhelmed and you’re looking for ways to feel more confident, calm, and effective, consider joining us for this 7-session series. You’ll learn practical parenting strategies that truly make a difference. Please register just one parent. A spouse, partner, or other family member is welcome to attend alongside the registered participant at no additional cost. Each class is a mix of new information presented by lecture, workbooks and video presentations. Time is offered each session to focus on your specific questions and reflect on how the new techniques are working for you. Topics Include: Setting Limits Teaching decision making Accepting consequences Discipline techniques How to build responsibility in your children

What are Home Visits? Our licensed Parent Educators are experienced professionals dedicated to helping families prepare for school success. Whether you’re new to the community or a longtime resident, we’re here to provide engaging learning experiences designed just for you and your child. Home visits are flexible and tailored to your family's needs. We can meet in your home or at our ECFE center for one-on-one visits. Each visit includes fun, age-appropriate activities and time to discuss parenting topics, child development, and community resources. What Can Home Visits Include? For parents and their 2 and 3 year olds. Come together for learning activities, singing, and fun! Then, join other parents to discuss current parenting issues. At separation time the children will enjoy a healthy snack followed by more playtime and ending with a circle time of singing and dancing. Sibling care is available with a charge.

Parents and infants will explore the world together in a unique and positive way through movement, sensory experiences, music, and exercise. Parents will also learn about their baby’s emotional, social, and physical development through discussions based on the interests of the group. Parents and infants remain together throughout the class, making this a wonderful way to experience ECFE and connect with other families with infants. Sibling care is available for an additional fee. At this time, we do not have sibling care staff available for the afternoon class session. Families may still register for sibling care, and we will do our best to find someone to provide coverage. If we are unable to secure staffing, the sibling care fee will be refunded.
