55+ Driver Discount ProgramAdult EnrichmentThis 4-hour course is taught by a certified instructor from Precision Driving Center of Minnesota and it will cover updates in laws, the latest vehicle technology, and address traffic safety and accident prevention measures. The class is a presentation and there is no test or behind the wheel exam. Completion of this course provides a 10% reduction on automobile insurance premiums for those age 55 and over! BMX Bike Racing: Pre-K to AdultYouth RecreationLearn the sport of BMX Bike Racing! Rum River BMX is the #1 indoor facility in the country. Unlike traditional sports, in BMX, no one sits on the bench! BMX riding is a great way for kids and adults to stay active, build confidence, develop important life skills, connect with others, and have fun. This session will cover BMX fundamentals including “What is BMX racing?” racing bike types, BMX terminology, and BMX safety. Also, the most important lesson, how to RIDE LIKE THE WIND! Students will receive hands-on riding instructions and will practice their new skills on the BMX track. This course is designed for new riders (novice) who are interested in the sport. If you can pedal your bike without training wheels, you can take part in this class. No special bikes are required, if it has wheels, a few adjustments and we will make it work for this class (your bike will need to have the reflectors, kickstand, chain guard, and pegs removed). If you do not have a bike, we have a fleet of HARO race bikes available at the track for use on a first come, first served basis. A full-face helmet is recommended, as helmets are required. You must wear long pants, a long-sleeved shirt and close-toed shoes. Check-in is from 5:30 to 6:00pm and class is from 6:00 to 7:45pm.Fall 2026 -
Beginner Ceramic Workshop: Gr. 4-AdultAdult EnrichmentLearn all about clay while creating a variety of projects using both wheel-throwing and hand-building techniques. Students can anticipate completing up to 10 unique pieces during the course. Thursday students attend Thursday, Sept. 24th and Oct. 1st to craft their items. Items need to dry. Then participants return on Oct. 15th to glaze their items. Instructor will then fire the items and they will be ready for pick-up after Oct. 22nd by appointment. CE Scholarship Fundraiser: Family Pizza and Bingo Night: All AgesYouth EnrichmentPrinceton Community Ed is committed to removing financial barriers so all students and families can access the programming we offer. This is our third year hosting a fun Family Pizza and Bingo Night to raise money for our CE Scholarship Fund to unlock Community Ed opportunities for families who have financial need. Proceeds from this event will help individuals and families enjoy our programs. This is a family-friendly event! Sign up with your family and friends, come wearing your costumes if you'd like, and take a fun photo at our selfie station! Doors open at 6:00pm for photos, food, and to get your Bingo cards. Bingo will start at 6:30pm. The $15 registration fee covers 1 slice of pizza (gluten free available), 1 beverage (bottled water, juice, or soda) and 1 Bingo card which will cover all rounds. You will be able to switch out your card between rounds if you wish. We will play a minimum of five rounds. A preschool-aged Bingo will also be available for younger kids. Prizes will be awarded to all Bingo winners! Please bring extra cash if you'd like to: Play more than one card at a time. $5/additional card (good for the whole night) Buy concessions. Items range from $1-$3. Buy raffle tickets for a chance to win larger prizes. Raffle tickets are $1/ticket. Pre-registration is required to ensure we have enough space and pizza. In Candy Corn Catapults, students become "Siege Engineers" as they design, build, and calibrate their very own desktop launchers. The mission? To successfully navigate the physics of flight and land a "harvest" of candy corn directly into a series of bubbling cauldrons.
