3-Day Horse Camp: Ages 6-15Youth EnrichmentCampers will get to experience everyday life at a barn! Life in the barn will include activities such as daily riding, learning how to braid manes and tails with ribbon, grooming and caring for the horses (including bathing), and feeding them at the end of the day. This is a great time for campers to spend time outdoors and build lasting friendships with fellow horse lovers in a structured and positive environment. Campers are broken into smaller groups of similar riding experience, which is perfect for both the new and more experienced riders. Please note that riding takes about one hour per day in an arena (no trails) and consist of learning to how to steer, stop, turn, and walk/trot on their own. Campers will spend time on the ground with horses throughout the rest of the day. Campers need to bring a lunch, snacks, and plenty to drink. Drop-off is at 9am and pickup is 3pm each day. WHAT DO CAMPERS NEED TO BRING? ● Long pants, closed toe shoes, appropriate clothes for weather inside and outside of barn● No flip flops● Sunscreen/hat/bug spray● Water bottle/drinks/snacks and a lunch● Treats for the horses if you want● Helmets are provided WEATHER: Camps are held rain or shine, as we have an indoor barn and arena. 55+ Driver Discount ProgramAdult EnrichmentThis 4-hour course is taught by a certified instructor from Precision Driving Center of Minnesota and it will cover updates in laws, the latest vehicle technology, and address traffic safety and accident prevention measures. The class is a presentation and there is no test or behind the wheel exam. Completion of this course provides a 10% reduction on automobile insurance premiums for those age 55 and over! Paper copies will also be available at the school buildings, at school sanctioned events, and in select business locations for families, but will not be mailed to all zip local codes for the winter. Down on the Farm: Open to AllYouth EnrichmentJoin us for a fun morning out visiting some of our local farms! Each visit will include a guided tour and a small hands-on activity. Some farms may have an additional cost for activities, which will be noted below. Many farms also offer goods for purchase, so you may wish to plan accordingly. An email will be sent prior to each visit with any of this information. Please wear comfortable, closed-toe shoes suitable for walking on a variety of terrains. Strollers and wagons are welcome. As these are active, working farms, families should come prepared for allergies, including exposure to bees and other insects. Families may register for one visit or all farm visits. Babies under the age of 1 attend for free. In the event of rain, farm visits will likely be canceled and families will be notified in advance. *Some farms have limited parking areas, so sign up early to secure your spot. Lunch Bunch SupervisionYouth EnrichmentTaking both a morning and afternoon course at the High School this summer? Stick around for Lunch Bunch! Students can enjoy their lunch and relax in the high school lobby with supervised care between classes. Activities such as coloring and games are provided if students wish. Community Ed staff will get students to their afternoon courses as needed. Just pack a lunch and we’ll take care of the rest. Note: For student safety, students are not allowed to be on campus unattended. If students are unable to be picked up right away from morning camp and need to stay on-site until their afternoon camp, enrollment in Lunch Bunch is required. In this week-long camp, students will review their Spanish-speaking skills by playing games, singing songs, and doing fun vocabulary, reading, and writing exercises designed to review what they already know. These Spanish camps are for entering Grades 1-2 students who are a part of the Princeton Public Schools Spanish Immersion Program. One-to-One Strength and Conditioning: Gr. 9-12Youth RecreationAthletes who are interested in a more tailored approach can sign up for one-to-one coaching. These programs will also incorporate injury prevention. Additionally, these programs will include an intake evaluation and monthly follow-ups with the athlete and the strength coach to discuss program progress and make changes as needed. This service will allow for a more tailored program depending on the athlete deficits and specific needs. Register online through Community Ed and then the instructor will contact you to set up your one-to-one schedule. Times available will be Monday-Thursday from 1:00-2:00pm. Registration will get you 4 sessions per week. Cost is $125 for your first month and $75/month thereafter.Summer 2026 -
