You will make six bars of homemade soap that will condition and soften your skin with fresh goat milk from right here on The 100 Acre Homestead ($54 value). Kids will learn what it's like to have a horse for a day! Campers get to ride in the indoor and/or outdoor arenas for 40-50min (no trails), practice how to steer, stop, turn, and walk on their own. They also might make horse treats, do a craft, and play games. And don't forget the time to meet and care for the horses, which is a big part of ownership! Campers are broken into smaller groups based on similar riding experience and age, which is perfect for both new and more experienced riders! Drop off is at 9am and pickup is 3pm. WHAT DO CAMPERS NEED TO BRING? ● Long pants, closed toe shoes, appropriate clothes for weather inside and outside of barn ● No flip flops ● Sunscreen/hat/bug spray ● Water bottle/drinks/snacks and a lunch ● Treats for the horses if you want ● Helmets are provided WEATHER: Camps are held rain or shine, as we have an indoor barn and arena. We are excited to share that Play Therapy will now be available as an optional service for preschool students either during the school day or outside of school hours right here in our Family Center building. This is an additional, voluntary service that families may choose to participate in. Play Therapy services are billed through your insurance or can be paid privately. Interested in RC Cars? Want to try racing them on a track? Come join us as we explore what makes them work and try them out! Participants will test out their driving skills on a few different types of RC Cars and will leave with a better understanding of them. Participants can use the provided RC Cars or their own with instructor approval. K-1st grade should have adult present during class with the student.

Kindness Crew is dedicated to serving our community and the needs of the people around us. This program will partner with local agencies and businesses to bring kindness to others and show students the importance of lending a helping hand. We will stay at the Intermediate school or surrounding area for most classes. There may be an opportunity for a short trip in town to another facility, which will be communicated before the first class.

If we should need a make-up date due to winter weather, the make-up dates will be the last THURSDAY of the month -- Thursday 1/29 for the January class and Thursday 3/26 for the March class.

As you get closer to 65, the amount of information you get concerning Medicare can make the process of applying very confusing. This is an educational meeting about Medicare and Medicare insurance that will answer your questions. We will discuss what Medicare covers, what it costs, and how and when to enroll. We will also review the types of Medicare insurance that are available and the factors to consider when deciding what type of plan is best for you.

This level helps students feel comfortable in the water and enjoy the water safely. Skills learned in the Little Swimmers class are improved upon and new elementary aquatic skills are introduced to help develop good attitudes and safe practices around the water. Children must have passed the Little Swimmers class or test out of the Little Swimmers class before taking this level. Your student may be ready for Level 1 lessons if they are able to go under water and are able to float by themselves without a life jacket. Children must be a minimum of 44 inches tall AND at least 5 years old to participate in Level 1.

This level continues to improve on the skills learned in Level 1 and increases the distances that students can go on their own. New skills will also be introduced while building the student's confidence in the water. Student must have passed Level 1 before taking this level. Your child may be ready for Level 2 if they are able to swim by themselves. Child must be a minimum of 44 inches tall AND at least 5 years old to participate at this level.
