Early Childhood ScreeningWHAT IS AN EARLY CHILDHOOD SCREENING? The early childhood years from birth to the start of kindergarten are an important time of rapid learning and growth. Early Childhood Screening is a quick and simple check of how your child is growing and developing. Between the ages of 3 and 4, screening can detect possible health or learning concerns, so that children can get help before they start kindergarten. Screening is required before kindergarten and recommended at 3.5 years old. Does my child need an Early Childhood Screening? YES - In order for your child to start kindergarten in any Minnesota public school, you will need to provide your child's Early Childhood Screening Summary Form and Immunization record. Is there a charge? No, Early Childhood Screening is FREE What will happen at the screening? WaitlistFamily Private Swim Lessons: All AgesAquaticsFamily private swimming lessons are designed for families to enroll their children in the same time slot and learn/practice skills together. The Tiger Swim Lesson Instructor will be able to teach all the Tiger Swim Lesson curriculum and will tailor the class to fit your family's individual needs. Multiple levels can be taught in the same lesson. If there are students in both lower and higher levels, a parent may need to get in the water to assist with the lower level skills practice. There is no limit to the number of children enrolled, but all participants must be in the same immediate family. Please only register 1 family member for the class, including the waitlist. NewGingerbread Creations Workshop: Ages 16-Adult (Ages 10-15 w/Adult)Adult EnrichmentLearn from Renee & Kirsten Poppenhagen, award-winning creators of gingerbread masterpieces nationwide!Find a partner and join our Gingerbread building class for a fun, hands-on experience where creativity meets construction! Participating teams of two will learn essential building techniques for designing and assembling a sturdy gingerbread structure, including planning a layout, using icing as “mortar,” creating strong walls and roofs, and decorating with various edible items and candies. By the end, each team will have built a unique gingerbread creation to proudly display and enjoy.Note: Only one team member needs to register.
