The Kitchen Garden: Photosynthesis to Plate: Gr. K-5
Ever wonder how a ray of sunshine can turn into a crunchy snack? Welcome to the "Green Lab," where biology meets the cutting board! In this class, we’re tracing the incredible journey of energy from the sun all the way to our dinner plates. Students will become part-botanist, part-chef as they explore the "magic" of how plants grow and why they taste so good.
We’ll dig into the science of Botany to understand the anatomy of the food we eat. From the roots hidden underground to the leaves reaching for the sky, every part of a plant has a job to do—and a flavor to share!
