Level 2 (Beginner) Gymnastics: Ages 6-10

Passing Level 1 is a prerequisite.

This class focuses on: Vault - handstand flat back, heel drivers, handstand hold against wall; Bars - spotted pullovers, pike & straddle swings, fish taps; Beam - releve walks, scale & arabesque holds, tuck jumps, t-level split handstands on low beam; Floor - cartwheels, handstands, back extension down cheese mat.

Gymnasts should bring a water bottle to all practices. Long hair should be secured out of the face. All hair accessories should be soft. Female gymnasts should wear a gymnastics leotard, and spandex shorts or leggings. Male gymnasts should wear tight fitting shirts/shorts. Please no dance leotards that have zippers, bows, tutus, etc.

If a make up day is needed, they will be rescheduled during the week of February 22nd-26th on their scheduled day at their originally scheduled time.
