Pioneer School: Gr. K-6

Thrill your children and travel back in time to experience real learning as it would have been taught (without electronics!) in the 1880s. All six grades are taught together in a one-room schoolhouse at the Princeton Depot.

Students will experience outdoor games and simple crafts will be featured in hours of fun in and around the Pioneer School. Plus, depending on the session students will participate in spelling bees or cursive handwriting, square dancing or historical skits, and/or 

There will be a School Exhibition on Friday for family and friends to attend and enjoy. Students will be showcasing some of the skills they have learned, followed by light refreshments.

Bring a packed lunch, water bottle, an 1800s themed show-and-tell item. Kids may dress in pioneer style clothing if they choose. For questions, call Barry Schreiber at 763-607-3195.
